NFL Week 8 belated early game picks.

My Internet was down for several hours, so I couldn’t write this earlier. Alas, here are my super quick picks for all the noon games for the day.

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger is back for the Steelers, and even if he’s not fully healthy, I still see his Steelers handing the Bengals their first, overdue loss. Prediction: Bengals 17, Steelers 23

New York Giants at New Orleans Saints

This game should be fun. Both offenses can be electric, and neither defense is any good. This one should be a barn burner, and I see the Saints winning it. Prediction: Giants 31, Saints 38.

Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns

The Browns are better than their record says they are, and they will pose a threat to the Cardinals. I see both teams having leads, with Arizona doing just enough to get the late win. Prediction: Cardinals 24, Browns 20.

San Diego Chargers at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have horrible luck. The Chargers haven’t fared much better. I would pick the Chargers in a close, tough one, but the Ravens falling to 1-7 is too crazy, even around Halloween. Prediction: Chargers 27, Ravens 30.

San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams

The Rams are surging with Todd Gurley running through opposing defenses, while their defense shreds opposing offenses. On the other side, the 49ers, as predicted, are in shambles. The Rams should win this one handily. Prediction: 49ers 10, Rams 23.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

The Vikings are 4-2, and a win will make many believe they have a shot at making the playoffs. The Bears are tough, and should be better than their record. I see them holding the lead for most of the game, before the Vikings steal the victory in the end. Prediction: Vikings 24, Bears 23.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

This game is about two frustrating teams. The Bucks should have won last week’s game at Washington, one which they led 24-0 before losing in the final minute. Meanwhile, the Falcons barely edged out the Tennessee Titans last week, after getting destroyed by the New Orleans Saints. I want to pick the Bucs, but I just can’t, especially after last week. I’ll say that they’ll keep it close but will fall short in the end. Prediction: Buccaneers 24, Falcons 34.

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

The Texans aren’t very good, and without Arian Foster, are definitely amongst the worst in the league. They’re still better than the Titans though, especially since the game is in Houston. Prediction: Titans 14, Texans 23.
